Dr. Katalin Bognar is an economist with more than a decade of experience in health economic modeling and real word data analysis in a wide range of clinical areas, including cardiovascular, oncological, metabolic, mental health, and musculoskeletal diseases. At PHAR, she focuses on designing and developing health economic models.
Dr. Bognar’s work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Health Economics, Value in Health, American Journal of Managed Care, and the Review of Economic Studies. Prior to her work at PHAR, Dr. Bognar was an economist at Precision Health Economics and a lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, teaching game theory, applied microeconomics, and statistics at the undergraduate level. Dr. Bognar completed her undergraduate work at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, her master’s in economics at the Central European University, and obtained her PhD in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
