Dr. Amanda Speller is a health services researcher with experience in health economics and outcomes research, causal inference studies, and survey design. At PHAR, Amanda leads real world evidence projects using health insurance claims, electronic health records, and survey data. Amanda has a PhD in Health Policy from Harvard University with a concentration in evaluative science and statistics. At Harvard, her research focused on maternal health, chronic disease, and state-level policy evaluation. Prior to completing her doctoral degree, Amanda earned a BS in Nursing from the University of Louisville. As a registered nurse, she worked in clinical trials and community health research.
